Where did all of these armies came from?
I am bored at work and theres nothing to do so I thought I would just do a journal to pass the time till lunch time. I was cleaning up my room that I have all of my plastic models and my 40k game table. It was a huge mess and I needed to get it all cleaned up by this upcoming saturday for a 24 hours of 40k at my place with some buddies of mine. To my suprise, I found a bunch of unfinished and built 40k models scattered though out this room. In boxes, on some tables, under paper, in other model boxes (why is there a Leman Russ in a T-80 box?), and other krazy places. I actally found my old Imperial Fists army with their MK1 rhinos and razorbacks. I thought I sold them or something. I found some old 3rd ed Chaos Terminators unbuilt and three 2nd ed Chaos Terminators. I thought I lost those for good when I moved out of my house and into my girlfriend's place. At this time, I currently have the following: 1250 pts of Imperial Fists 1500 pts of Elysians (FW models) 3000 pts of Emperors Dragons (custom SM chapter) 5500 pts of Zeonic Guard (Imperial Guard with a tad of flavor of Zeon) 2000 pts of Armoured Battlegroup (FW AC The tanks are from the Zeonic Guard) 2000 pts of Night Lords Chaos Marines 750 pts of Renegade Militia (Siege of Vraks rules with Eye of Terror rules for flavor) 1750 pts of Dark Eldar Looking at all of these armies, you think I am rich or something. I wish. I got most of these guys 2nd hand in trades. The Elysians, Renegade Militia, Dark Eldar, and Night Lords I am still working on. But this is still alot of shit to do. I hardly have the time to do this. I thought about having someone work on them for me but that would just be a waste of money. I don't feel like shitting out $100 to have 2 sqds of Renegade Militia painted at the same level of work I do as you can see with my Elysians. AND I am planning to re-paint my Zeonic Guard cuz that was my 1st army I ever got back in 3rd ed. It was actally a Catachan army but it transformed into a urban combat army. My skills has improved by alot since then. I actally prime my models now and now how to highlight to name a few skills I learned. I might have to take some pics of my armies and put them on here to show how much of a 40k guy that I am. I just have to take them out of their cases now when I come back home. *sigh* But I am proud of what I have done with these armies. Well, its time to go pick up a monster and a Whopper now then relax with a fresh cigar. Till later, Seig Zeon. |
