Rock Band wannabe
Yesterday I nearly passed -- well, 79% -- of The Who - Won't get fooled again on expert drums. SO CLOSE! FUCK!
At some point I started playing the Rock Band drums as a way of stress relief. Leading to literally all of my pads being physically broken (anger + glue for gum rubber pads = plastic's worst nightmare). But I've played so much that I have been able to beat most of the game on expert, minus a few select songs. My career is actually stuck on Fallout Boy - Dead on arrival, even though I can pass harder songs, simply because I refuse to spend anytime learning that song -- it's just terrible.
I eagerly await Rock Band 2 and am looking forward to some reviews of the premium drums which I am considering buying. I am also looking forward to Guitar Hero: World Tour. And Fallout 3. This is a good time to be a gamer and a bad time to be productive. Excellent.
