Super sensitive
I've noticed lately that my tolerance for all things gross has gotten less and less. I remember as a kid nothing really grossed me out (except for one very strong memory of my brother on the top bunk spitting down the side of the wall as my sister and I frantically tried to clean it up so it wouldn't hit out sheets. We gagged while we cleaned. Brothers are gross). As I've gotten older, however, that reflex has gotten worse and worse. I think I've finally reached the point where I really can't watch anything that is gross. I'm currently making my way through all of The X-Files (again, I've seen every single episode and movie because I watched it as a kid) via Netflix. Just watched S02E02 "The Host" and I almost threw up my dinner. When the guy gagged and spit up a fluke worm I had to walk out of the room. So gross. |
