Mass Communication is the study of the mass media (TV, radio, newspapers, blogs, etcetera, etcetera) and how they can be used to affect how the public sees different issue. And yes I do go to Canterbury Uni.
As for Avatar I never actually got to see the later episodes but I have taken a liking to reading Avatar fanfiction. It is okay once you dredge out the crap.
