[ few really lazy days ]thursday and friday ended up being just me being really, really lazy. thursday i woke up at 1pm, did laundry, wrote half my performing arts paper, and spent the rest of the day watching dexter and browsing online and such. friday i woke up at like 11am, went to the victoria and albert museum for a few hours, went on a nice walk (the weather this week has been georgous), and then wrote an article for the newspaper i write for back in champaign and then watched slumdog millionaire.today i was at the Arsenal game. amazing game. 3-1 to the Arsenal. thrilling, somehow i managed to miss getting a vid of Fabregas' goal cuz it was literally right in front of me. I was next to the away fans on the side behind the net. god, it was just an unbelievable game. i cannot say how much i enjoyed it. i have almost no voice right now because i've been singing/chanting/screaming for 90 minutes today. on a similar note, how do you make 60,000 people stand up at once? start singing "if you hate tottenham stand up" :) great day. wonderfully great day prague was last weekend, wow, it's been a while since i updated this...my bad. prague was amazingly beautiful. if we're friends on facebook, you mighta seen my pictures covering up your entire feed. prague was amazingly beautiful. in terms of overall beauty as a city, i don't expect anything to top it. truly, that good. every building was unique, interesting architecture, covered with statues. the old town square is just top notch. nothing comes close. only thing i will say about prague, there's not much to actually do. PLENTY to see, but you kinda just see it, take pictures, move on. not much to do unfortunately. so our 3-hour free walking tour followed by our 3-hour walking tour of the "castle area" pretty much covered absolutely everything. tomorrow's just gonna be watch a bit of football, do a lot of classwork. monday's busy with class and then homework. tuesday is going to be amazing, champions league game at night!! then wednesday night we leave for paris. 3 and a half days in paris |
