I must confess, I did do little more than skim it myself.
As for the merging, that is, in a way, one of the reasons I did it. I tried to take two things that I know well, yet are polar opposites, and merge them together. And I find your honesty refreshing. Though hopefully at some point I may be able to sway you...
I was stuck under inside a tunnel of cooled rock that had lava flowing through it. The game should alter your spawn point instead of spawning you in lava.
