Deployed

Deployed to Afghanistan back in June. Hopefully this will be my last deployment, will see. Put on CW3 back on 01 June as well. Better pay at least. Still with Task Force ODIN, hope to go back to Fort Gordon after this. Well got to go have four sites at four different FOBs so i spend a lot of time flying. Keeps me busy. Later all.

I was an intelligence specialist when I left the Navy. I cross over to be an imagery tech. I am currently deployed to COB Spiecher in Iraq, only 352 days left before I am out of here. I might try to sign up to do another tour over or to support OEF, after which I will be putting in my papers to retire. 24 or 25 years of doing this is enough for me. I believe I have done my part to help safe guard our freedom and it is time to let others take my place. I have enjoyed it and done alot of things that I would not have done if I hadn't joined. But now it is time to set back and enjoy a house that I have spent little time since buying it and to sit out front of it with my wife and enjoy the laughter and smiles of my grandkids. Wild, I was not planning on writing about this till later but I have time lately to reflect on the last 20 years and this is one place I can express how I feel. Well let me get back on track, wish your guy the best of luck with WOCC and WOBS. The Army can always use good soldiers I guess that is why alot of us from the Navy are coming over to help them fill their ranks. Take and care and I will be blogging alot more now that I am deployed, so llok out for them and feel free to comment on them as you wish, after all it is a free country. Later to all.

what did you do in the navy? one of our SAR swimmers just picked up the Army Warrant Flight program! we're all happy for him! (but give him a hard time about 'going green'!)
