Dead Week Concludes with "Ragdoll Check" Achievement
Howdy Y'all,
This is an Achievement Hunter post, so if you hate things that are both cool and awesome, like video games, freedom, or boobs, skip over it.
Still here? Good. I just wanted to take a second to post about the ending of Dead Week. If you don't know what that is, you're officially off my Christmas card list.
No...that's mean. Ok, you're back on. But I'm keeping my eye on you. Anyway, over at AH, we had the opportunity to play the upcoming Sci-Fi / Horror / Thriller Dead Space. Not only did we get to play it, we got to play the shit out of it. And during that shit-playing, we managed to make five videos, chronicling six Achievements. They are listed below:
Marksman / Tool Time
Air Alert
Merchant
Armstrong
Ragdoll Check (Just released today! HOT)
If you haven't had a chance yet, you should totally check those videos out. Dead Space is a fucking awesome game, and when it comes out next Tuesday, you're totally going to want to play it. The guides will help. I promise you.

So I guess this is the healthcare the Devil was referring to in the last comic. Well I'm convinced. Where do I sign up?
Also, Luke was nice enough to make a wallpaper inspired by today's comic. You can get it in either 1280 x 1024 or 1440 x 900.
In other Rooster News, Achievement Hunter is kicking all kinds of ass with Dead Week, our entire week devoted to putting up Achievement videos in the soon-to-be-released Dead Space. Well, today's comic took a turn I didn't expect. Ok, that's not entirely true, as I read the script ahead of time. However, I bet it takes a turn you aren't expecting. Wait...did you read the script too? Dammit.

Last one out, hit the lights
FYI, the website will be offline for maintenance tonight. The facility where our servers are housed is undergoing some power upgrades and installing additional battery back up systems tonight. Since they will be cutting power we will have to shut down our servers while they work, wait for them to restore power, then turn it all back on again. Expect things to get shut off around 11:30PM Central time tonight. Work should be completed within two and a half hours, so things should come back online around 2AM Central time. This is the first time since our move to Austin that we have completely rebooted everything, so there may be some straggling issues that take me a little while to fix once everything comes back online, but I expect it to go pretty smoothly.
