See, if it were just a Heath Ledger joke, and I've seen those, it wouldn't be particularly funny. This joke is clever because of it's six degrees of separation thing, and the brooding but dim witted superhero stereotype. Had almost nothing to do with Ledger, and didn't riff on his death at all. That's why I think it's superior. Your milage may differ.
