I liked your 'Argument Thread' idea. I'm thinking of doing something similar in a few days time. I was thinking Sponsors board... but maybe I should do the General Board so you can take part. I think it requires at least two people to get a decent start.
and, maybe, since this is a site filled with gamers, we should start with something easier to argue about than Communism. Communism is... tough. I can argue it, but I don't know enough about it to make a good argument. I could go on about abortion - I've studied it extensively in a Bioethics class. And Stem cell research -
But, we could start off with something more like - "Happiness is inherently good". I can think of a few arguments against it. Can throw some Aristotle in there, some Kant - that would be cool. And everybody knows the topic.
Anyway - I don't want to start it until I finish exams on Monday. Lemme know what you think!
