The Quest
As some of you know from the Stargate thread, I recently topped 100 polls and got a profile award. Normally I don't care about the awards but I suddenly had to wonder just how many polls to the next? I mean, 100 is a lot for polls, could they have thought that anyone could go significantly higher? The easiest way to find out would be to ask the RT crew web dev who is responsible for awards but a) don't know who that is b) I have no in with the RT crew to find out, and most importantly c) I came up with a more fun idea. See, I remember the days you could break the forum threads and stuff like that. I know that now I can't beak the awards but I can sure as hell try. In that vein, I'm going to start up a series of polls here on my journal to accompany the ones I run elsewhere. I want to try to not flood the threads because that would be rude (and ban worthy) but I may be more apt to make one in any given situation. My journal is where the bulk will occur and I am going to try and make sure that all my polls are relevant and have some meaning. Just throwing out fav color-style polls would just be cheap. I will likely not do more than one a day as to not rape your watch list. I will take suggestions. Now, I know of a few people who have gone past 100 already but don't know exactly how far. I know that I passed 100 in the past three weeks while doing a prop poll competition on the SG thread. This means I am somewhere between 100 and 117. To be safe I started my count at 101. Each time I do a poll anywhere I will number it so I can keep track of exactly how well I'm doing. 150 and 200 are my first two goals. And to start me off, here is 106:
106: What do you think?
