RUBBISH
It is complete and utter rubbish that The Adventures of Tintin didn't get a nomination for best animated picture. I mean some of the other nominations are a blood waste of time, space and logic. For starters, A Cat in Paris is in French with only English subtitles. I'm pretty sure that the Academy Awards are given out by the AMERICAN Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and not the International Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science. Not to mention that it looks like it was drawn by people who were on acid the entire time! TRAILER SO YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF I've watched that trailer about 6 times and I still can't get use to the animation style. And I'm sure that it has a great story, but if something is going to be nominated for best picture, it better have good animations to back that story up. Besides those things the biggest problem I have with this movie is that it was released December 15, 2010!!!! It originally came out in time to properly be nominated last year for best animated but for some reason the Academy's decided to wait for Over a year before nominating it. I think they waited to nominate for this year because last year Toy Story 3 was in the mix and all the people who are "artistic experts" knew that if it was nominated last year there was absolutely no chance of it winning against Toy Story 3. And then there is Chico & Rita. And while it to has a funky art style after watching the trail a few times I was able to get use to it, so that wasn't the problem. It's problem was that it was an even worse offender then A Cat in Paris, because it originally came out September 4, 2010!!!! I mean talk about a delayed nomination, and I can guaranty you that it's nomination was also held back a year for the exact same reason as A Cat in Paris was, the "artistic experts" didn't want it competing with Toy Story 3. So in order to give either A Cat in Paris and Chico & Rita a better chance at winning best animated all the "artistic LINKED MEDIA
