I finally got my very own xbox on Saturday. I've been wanting one for aaages so you'd think I'd be more careful with it. But up until about 30mins ago it was balanced on a chair. Not the best place to put it, I know, but it was making too much damn noise on the wood floor. A game was partway through loading (only bought Lost Odyssey today and was rather excited) when I thought 'I'll put the console back on the floor.'
I'd only just moved the thing when I heard a horrible grinding noise and a big ol' notice flashed up telling me the disc wasn't readable. Took it out and oh my days I've never seen such a huge scratch! It's a wonder the disc is still in one piece! So I guess it's back to Game Station for a new copy
Note to self: if at any point during game play you get the urge to relocate your xbox - DON'T!!
