"In religion and politics people's beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing." - M. Twain

Are you for real right now?

I work at Majestic Liquors.

Today was very busy as the new year parties are tomorrow. Today, someone called and asked if we sold alcohol.

If a liquor store sells alcohol.

No, it's no alcohol Thursday. Sorry, try again tomorrow. /sarcasm

FAVORITE MUSIC
Rock. Lots and lots of rock. Metal older stuff alternative industrial punk is cool sometimes if I'm in the mood and other varieties I can't think of at the moment. Jazz is cool. But I mostly like either faster big band or New Orleans style jazz. Some rap but it has to be faster rap. Some pop but really not much. As I Lay Dying Atreyu Atrocity Avenged Sevenfold The Beatsteaks Brand New Breaking Benjamin Bullet for My Valentine Chevelle Children of Bodom cKy Clutch Combichrist Cradle of Filth Crashsight Crossfade Disturbed Drowning Pool Escape the Fate Flogging Molly Godsmack Green Day Helltrain Him Hoobastank Joe Walsh Killswitch Engage Linkin Park lostprophets Lynyrd Skynyrd Madlife Matisyahu Metallica Mudvayne Nine Inch Nails Panic! at the Disco Papa Roach Perfect Circle Powerman 5000 Prodigy Rammstein Rise Against RivetHead Seether Smile Empty Soul Sublime System of a Down The Offspring Three Days Grace Tool Trapt Turbonegro Viking Skull 69 Eyes
FAVORITE MOVIES
Action or anything with explosions fights really really fast and slick cars and strategic plans that do something interesting like rob a bank or build a missile. And Comedy. Basically anything that can hold my attention for upwards of two hours. The Boondock Saints. 300 Dogma Robin Hood: Men in Tights Nightmare Before Christmas X-men (all of them) Lord of the Rings (duh) Serenity The Producers Pirates of the Carribean Underworld The Fast and the Furious 2Fast 2Furious Tokyo Drift XXX Monty Python's and the Holy Grail Dumb and Dumber Van Helsing National Treasure Talladega Nights
FAVORITE TV SHOWS
Comedy and shows with fast cars. Or stuff about ancient cities. But only the cool ancient cities or civilizations like Sparta most barbarian tribes the vikings the mongols you get the idea. Pretty much the same as movies they only have to hold my attention for thirty minutes to an hour. Attack of the Show The Daily Show with Jon Stewart The Colbert Report Futurama Red vs. Blue (if that counts as tv...) Bleach Fullmetal Alchemist Saiyuki Tokko Samurai Champloo CSI Lost Stargate SG1 Stargate Atlantis House Heroes Fringe Top Gear Eureka Psych
FAVORITE VIDEO GAMES
RPGs mostly... Final Fantasy is a good series... Dark Coud is pretty good and I don't Care what anyone says Pokemon is still one of the best games you can buy for a Gameboy or a DS. You know you played it so don't even lie to yourself. Also RTSs... Comand and Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour is good... there are others... Halo is good for playin with friends but other then that I suck pretty hardcore at first person shooters. Mainly cuz i have a ps2 and fps generally aren't too fun on it unlike the xbox. But hey what can ya do? but I finally got an xbox this year so now i have halo all to myself!

Yeah they are so pricey. Then again I'm sure over time I'll spend much more on my AR, and pistols.... Someday...

They're really not hard to make; my first one took about 45 minutes because I didn't know what I was doing, but I've undone it twice, and each instance took less time to weave back together than before.

The stuff that I personally used came from a friend of mine; his dad is in the Navy, and they've got 10,000 feet of it lying around. GI surplus stores generally have more than enough to make a couple bracelets out of, but the best deals are usually online. I've heard via Candlepower forums that Lighthound is a good place to find it, but I've always been a fan of Cheaper Than Dirt.
Good luck!

OT is nice if the government would quit taking so much out of my paycheck. Too bad I can't claim my dog as a dependent.

Very wet. Been dealing with flooding since April. Some areas have been under water for months. Army Corps of Engineers have been releasing lots of water out of reservoirs up river of the Missouri to reduce flooding up river, but that means we're getting more water. Mississippi looks like its going down, but Missouri is still really high. Living between two of the biggest rivers in the Midwest means we deal with a lot of flooding.

Other than the local water problems, things are alright. Getting tired of being single and the ladies I'm interested in not being interested in me. Work's been real busy. Got 3 hours OT yesterday.
