*Sulks*
As you probably all now my usual media of choice for artwork is acrylic paint. Over the years I have collected hundreds of paints all of slightly different colours (most of which are Games Workshop paints as they have, or at least had, the largest colour choice in acrylic. Several years ago (I daren't even try to work out exactly how many) I bout the whole range, every colour possible in the Games Workshop range. Sadly, I chose exactly the wrong time to do it as the new-style pot was not exactly air-tight... They fixed this soon after, but too late for me. Now and again I'd go for a colour and it would be dried up. The unfortunate paint would be disposed of and I'd carry on, mixing the missing shade. I knew the time would come come to check them all, however... I've been putting this off for a long time... I just been through my stock of paints... ...Over three quarters of them were totally solid, the remaining one third nearly dry too. *sigh* I sense an expencive replacement session comming on... (BTW, don't panic - I refer to just that specific range of paints. I still have a good selection of other paints left... for now, at least) |
