Moving on up in this worldAngela Fazzari, RN BScN at Hamilton General Hospital Clinical Neuroscience Unit more letters to be added soon (to the likes of RN (EC) (c)) but as of right now I am quite thrilled at the above. I was just offered full time status at my part time job. This means cutting a whopping 40 minute commute off of my drive and not worrying so much as to what the winter weather may throw my way. I am really excited about this position as my unit is actively involved in research studies comparing coiling to clipping aneurysms as well as being the regional leader in neuroscience. We even have a patient currently on the unit from Toledo, Ohio because services in her area were insufficient for optimal treatment. My unit will also be putting me through the Critical Professional Orientation so that I can get one step closer to my certification as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner. Hmm I guess walking around saying `Brains` would be quite fitting at this point in time. |
