OMFG... He Lives!
If anyone ends up reading this, thank you. As you will have noticed I barely ever post journals, and I barely ever post comments in any thread either. The only reason I come on anymore is just to download the Drunk Tank podcast and watch RvB, and also I can waste time my going through all my alerts. So now while I have the time I've decided to finally post another journal and give a little update on what's happening in my life. Start with the easiest stuff to talk about: University crap. I finished 1st year a couple of weeks ago, and have started studying for my exams in May. Got four to sit in May, and one to sit in August since I was ill during the first set of exams and missed one. So I get to go and take my 1st attempt with all the people who failed first time round  So far I have yet to get a job, haven't really tried that hard since I have enough to do me for a while and I can't really be bothered. I do realise that's a very bad attitude to have, however my exams are the most important things in my mind. Myself and four friends have secured a flat for 2nd year, it's in a good location and I'm really looking forward to that. Still need to organise internet, insurance and whatnot but we're not moving in until August so we've got time. Now a couple more serious points. Something I haven't talked about much to anyone really, my parents split up back in September on my frist day of Uni. It's been niggling away at the back of my mind since and I can't find a way to express how I'm feeling about it. It doesn't help that my brother seems unphased by it as he'd lived away from home for two years at that point. Also my Gran (Dad's Mother), suddenly became paralysed below the neck and had to go to hospital. No-one thought she'd live for very long past that but as of now she's been moved to another hosiptal and has recovered some movement in her arms, but Dad told me the doctors don't think she'll ever walk again. Generally I don't like telling people about my problems because I'm always of the opinion that other people will probably have their own problems which will be worse than mine but since this is the first time in forever than I feel I can say something about it, then I have done. (I'm shocked at how how badly worded that sentence is, yet I can't make it any better ).If you're still reading by this point I thank you again, I may try to post somewhat more regularly should I get the urge but otherwise goodbye. |
