Yep
So work has been really good to me, I seem to be doing quite well at work to gain my "5 Level" (in the Air Force, our jobs are rated by Levels, from 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. I'm currently in upgrade training to gain my 5 Level, which will now be shortened to Lvl.) I just need a few more tasks signed off in order to get there. As you can tell by my last post, I just bought a new gun! So excited for it to arrive! The main reason I bought the .357 is because it can also fire .38 SP as well, which actually boils down to cheaper shooting. It isn't a conceal carry gun, but it is pretty fucking cool and I like it. I'll let you guys know how it fires when I get it! My romantic endeavors seem to be looking up. Back in october, I started with a field of about 6 candidates, I am now down to about 2. I say "About" because it was one until the other started to redeem herself and is just making the choice difficult for me. The worst part is that they all live back home about 6 hours from me and that's why i'm trying to see which one is the better fit. It is a necessary evil. In about 13 days I will be at my TWO YEAR MARK in the Air Force, which has me nothing more than excited. This means I only have 2 more years and well leaves me to wonder what I'm gonna do after. Being a pilot seems to be more and more out of the question considering that I'd have to get out, and try to come back in to be guarenteed a spot in trying out for Pilot. So the plan is, Get out, go talk to a contractor (Raytheon or someone of that stature and go to school and get my Electrical Engineering Degree and see if I can get an Engineering position at some big company or try to get back in and apply for Officer) My Fitness in two years has steadily declined while the Air Force has tacked on more and more responsibilities on me. I am now sitting at 215 and well I'm still able to pass my PT test, I'm not happy that I'm up so high. But I will say that Such hastily lost weight WILL come back and bite you in the ass. and that's where I'm at now. But i'm not discouraged, It's nothing I can't work on and return to. Just time and hard work. But I think that's about it. Nothing really new other than that bit of information. TL:DR Work is awesome, Bought a new gun, women like me, 2 year Air Force anniversary, want to be pilot or engineer, I got fat, but i want to work out and solve that. until next quarter Guys! |
